Severe ligament pain

Looking for anyone who may have experienced this. Woke up this morning doubled over in pain! Couldn’t do anything, couldn’t lift my toddler, walk properly etc

went to hospital and they monitored baby and everything was fine (currently 35 weeks). But they’ve said it sounds like ligament pain! I just didn’t think ligament pain was this bad!! I’ve taken paracetamol and used a hot water bottle but I’ve essentially been bed bound all day. Has anyone else had round ligament pain this severe?

Ahhh I feel a lot less melodramatic reading this! I'm in absolute agony with it! It's my first so I'm beyond paranoid too.

So I'm not sure if it's the same for you but mine is more on the left side. It makes getting up,walking and even rolling over in bed horrible. It feels really low and kind of like baby is laying on the muscles?

I'm nearly 32 weeks and have mentioned it a few times to my midwife. Advised paracetamol and listen to my body (not helpful when body feels like it's breaking)They also advised me to refer myself for physio which I have and to get a support belt. Also try some like pilates/yoga. Not entirely sure how to do that when I can't even get myself up off the floor but you are not alone! Try referral for physio? Xx
