I’m 14+4 weeks pregnant. Had my first scan and it was all fine, low risk etc. I went for a wee today and when I wiped there was some blood, not bright red but enough to notice it. Whilst on hold for the midwife I kept checking and on the third check it was like a brownish/beige colour. Must have been about 1/2 hours and then there was nothing there. I have twinges and lower abdomen cramps, but I’ve had that all pregnancy. Midwife said it’s old dried blood and to keep an eye on it. Anyone else had this? Should I be worried? Xx

I had this around 11 weeks, it can be normal but obviously keep an eye on it. You did the right thing calling a midwife x

Thank you! I spoke to the EPU again this morning, they said they weren’t worried but to keep an eye on it and see if it gets heavier or if I get any severe pain! Xx
