Anyone else has very sore stomach in late 3rd trimester?

Hello, currently 34 weeks.

Lucky to have had a fairly smooth pregnancy so far but.. my stomach is so horrible sore inside. Like the lining feels red raw. It’s worse in the evening.

I also have v painful and tight skin around my bump, so much so that I’ve had to limit the amount I eat or else I end up in so much pain.

Midwife doesn’t seem bothered but the pain and discomfort I have now is almost unbearable and it’s making me a bit worried about how I’m going to get through these last few weeks where I’m only going to stretch more 😳 also, is this normal? No one else I know has had a sore stomach when pregnant!

I have it this time with no.2. I've added way more weight than with no.1 and my insides just feel more squashed so my bump is always burning and sore. Good news is you only have a little bit longer left! I'm not even 30 weeks yet . Try an ice pack, I find that helps, and laying on my back with feet raised till it eases an it.

I had it with number two, felt tender to touch and I felt bruised and sore. Also felt numb in places. 2.5 weeks post birth and the soreness has done, but still slightly numb in places.

I had it too op (you're bringing it all back to me). I remember with my first being convinced that my stomach would actually burst open, logically I knew it wasn't possible but my body was trying to convince me otherwise (and doing a good job at it)

Same thing happened with my second although the difference was I knew it was "normal" for me. I remember both times going for lots of walks to try and distract myself as sitting down made it worse.

It will become a distant memory, all the best for you.

Yes very sore bump, top left. It think it's so bruised internally from feet stuck in ribs that now it is permanently sore. It feels like burning.
