Hi everyone,
yesterday I went for my first scan (which I was working out to be 11 weeks). I was so excited but once checked the sac was empty I was told it looked like I’d had a ‘blighted ovum’…
they made me an appointment at another hospital this morning where I went to discuss options.
when I was there they give me the option to have another scan just to fully ‘confirm’ this.
during this scan the midwife came across a tiny white blob, but said my gestational sac was large.
they have now sent me away for 10 days to go back for another scan but to not get any hopes up as the size of the ‘white blob’ was too small against the sac anyways and may not have even been an embryo.
has anyone got any success/positive stories who may have been in this situation?
