What does everyone have when they go out for a social gathering/meal/ or even on Holiday when pregnant?

Sparkling water

J20. I don't buy it for home so really enjoy it when out.

Appletiser! One of your five a day 😉 but tbh I get so bored of it after one and I find some of the other fruit based soft drinks and coke etc too sweet. I miss the variety of drinks (well, wine, let's face it!)

Tonic water with lime.

I miss wine very much! If I have enough caffeine allowance I go for coke, otherwise if there is an option for a mock tail I will try it. That being said I have a two year old so it’s not like nights out are frequent!

Absolutely nailed the Appletiser when I was pregnant!

I found an absolute gem the other day in Morrisons...a mocktail mojito in a can 75p and only 7 calories!

Not pregnant (saw this in active) but if you are ok with trace alcohol in angostura bitters, a rock shandy is a great alcohol free drink. Equal parts lemonade and soda water (or adjust to your sweetness preference) and a dash of angostura bitters. Really light and refreshing and not so sweet, which many non-alcoholic options are. It's my favourite summer drink.

Also a virgin mojito is delicious. Just adjust the amount of lime/mint/syrup to your preferences.

I'm enjoying alcohol-free 'gin' with different tonics and lots of ice. I'm always very thirsty when pregnant, and it's really hitting the spot!

Pineapple juice 😋

Definitely Appletiser, in a wine glass. Even comes in a wine shaped bottle! Still drink it now when I'm driving.

Tonic water

My friend's daughter is pg and when visiting us recently she brought a bottle of Lyre's Italian Spritz. It is totally alcohol free, and is just so gorgeous when mixed with ice and orange slices in a nice glass! I don't drink myself, so that was gloriously different and I'm told it tastes exactly like the real thing. My friend and daughter insisted that I keep the bottle. I will raise a toast to HM on Monday with a large one.

Appletiser or elderflower cordial in a wine glass. I just like drinking out if a wine glass so when I'm driving etc and out I always ask for a wine glass with Appletiser, I don't feel I'm missing out.

At home I like 7up with mint in a gin glass.

Crodino is a delicious non alcoholic aperitif. Lucky Saint do a great low alcohol beer, but note it's got 0.5% alc per bottle. Martini also do a range of alcohol free drinks that you can drink neat over ice or with tonic. Fever tree ginger ale is always delicious. Agree with the angostura bitters, I mix it with cucumber spritz, sparkling water and a bit of elderflower. Tanqueray and Gordons do the best 0% gin in my opinion. Finally a friend just recommended Nogroni from a company called Aecorn (think they also own Seedlip), for an alcohol free Negroni! Cheers.

The fevertree Sicilian orange soda and Mexican lime soda are lovely. Giner beer was also a favourite of mine as I couldn't handle the sweetness of juices all the time.
