So in a massive rush at lunchtime and picked up what I thought was ready to eat. Turns out it was a microwave meal - chicken and lentils etc.

didnt heat it up before I ate it and now im really worried about listeria and everything else. What do people think? Should I be worried?

Possibly

Was it cooked but needed to be reheated, or raw?

If you start with any d and v symptoms, call your midwife

Well I'm presuming it wasn't raw chicken! Unlikely anything will come of it - if it was edible then it had already been cooked and presumably then stored in a fridge, so I wouldn't worry too much.

It will have been pre-cooked. You'll probably be fine.
