I have terrible trapped wind, specifically in the evenings and it’s keeping me awake at night.

What worked for anyone who had this/is suffering?

can we take any meds or anything for it?

thanks in advance x

Aldis sugar free sherbet lemons. I guarantee you won't have trapped wind after them. Guarantee it 😧

Are you constipated as that can worsen trapped wind? If so mild fiber based laxatives are safe in pregnancy. Just speak to the pharmacist to make sure you get the right type.
Baths (not too hot) can help, and walking around and movements like bending.

laying on the floor on your back with your legs straight up against a wall

I don’t think it’s constipation as actually more regular now with pregnancy. It’s the evenings seem to be really bad, probably because I’m not moving about much.

Peppermint tea really works. I gave birth last week and it sorted me right out

Get on your hands and knees then stretch your arms out in front so your bum is higher than your shoulders. Warn anyone in the locality it could be loud.
