Is all day morning sickness an indicator of twins?

I'm currently 9 weeks pregnant and I've had "morning sickness" all day and evening. I've spoken to some friends and the only ones who have had the nausea last that long, have had twins. My nans sister had twins and so did another distant relative, so I was just wondering if anyone on here has had similar all day morning sickness and if so did you have twins? Thanks

Don't assume it's twins haha

Felt horrendously sick all day every day for weeks but never actually sick in pregnancy 1. Couldn't eat anything all day. Single girl.

In my second pregnancy, I could count on one hand the number of times I felt nauseous. Single girl. 🤷‍♀️

Ill all day, badly enough to be hospitalised at first, for most of my pregnancy. Not twins. To be fair, in hospital at week 7 they gave me an early scan, in part, to see if it was - twins on mine and DH's side.

Nope not at all

Nope

I had morning sickness for the full 9 months with a baby boy.

I had hyperemesis and was sent for an early scan to check it wasn't a molar or multiple pregnancy. It didn't end up being twins or anything else it was just how my body reacted but yes it can be a sign especially if twins run on the mothers side of the family.

All day nausea and sickness for me... only had one

Awful morning sickness with my twins.

Eek3under3 · 13/09/2022 23:05

Nope - I have twins and had no sickness.

My sickness was dreadful until 14 weeks it was all day and all night it would wake me up during the night I dreamt it was triplets at one point! But nope it’s just 1 baby girl in there. Sickness can be worse with girls. But some people just get bad sickness. Is this your first baby and you have nothing to compare too? Why don’t you book an early scan ? They do them from 6 weeks

All day nausea and vomiting for 6 months both times for me. I remember wishing it was twins the first time around so I wouldn't feel the need to put myself through it again 😌

No. Morning sickness really is a misnomer. Everyone I know has experienced it differently at different times and even all day every day til baby (singular) was born.

I had all day and all night nausea with last pregnancy, was only a single baby.
