Hello, I’m looking for a good pregnancy pillow to help keep me from leaning on my stomach and to support my back. Any recommendations for quality ones please would be much appreciated- thanks :)

Bb Hug Me, worth every penny!

zeromango · 13/09/2022 20:11

I second BB Hug me it's fantastic - I still use it now and DS is 8 months Grin Yes they're expensive but I paid for mine in 3 instalments (which I rarely do but I was desperate!) I've no idea if it helped but in my first pregnancy I suffered awfully with PGP and in my second pregnancy I was fine. You can also buy them second hand off eBay / Facebook etc.

Ahhh I remember my Boppy. I loved it! I still slept with it even after my baby was born.

AmyAW · 13/09/2022 20:49

Third on BB Hug Me. It's been worth every penny!

Stephanie226 · 13/09/2022 20:53

How many weeks do you need to be before it's acceptable to buy these fab pillows 😂 I'm only 14 weeks and hubby will just think I'm at it but they look so good x

bravelittletiger · 13/09/2022 20:55

BUY THE BBHUGME IMMEDIATELY 🤣🤣

My DD is 1 and I'm still using it having got it out again. It's the comfiest, squishiest, cuddliest thing in the world and is the best thing I bought in pregnancy hands down.

I do find myself sleeping on my belly and it wakens me up so maybe this will help 😁 that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it 😂😂

@Stephanie226 me too! They look soo comfy! Time for me to take up the bed - move over hubby & 🐶🤣

I had a Dreamgenii and a huge U-shaped one (possibly Queen B or similar?) Last time. I gave up on the Dreamgenii.

This time I was coping with the u-shaped one but I have had terrible SI joint pain and sciatica and it was taking up half the bed so upgraded to a Snuzcurve when they came out a couple of months ago - genuinely the best thing ever. The lower part is memory foam and has a guide to keep your legs in position. The upper part is filled with beads so is really squishy and can be shoved under the bump to support it exactly where you need it supporting.

Captain1822 · 14/09/2022 03:04

I don’t necessarily have a recommendation but I loathed my dreamgenii, it was the most uncomfortable thing ever! Definitely would not recommend that but I’ve heard sooo many good things about the BBhugme, I wish I’d have chosen that!

PointyMcguire · 14/09/2022 06:37

Another vote for BBhugme. I bought mine following recommendations on here and honestly don’t know what I’d do without it now.

Loulou1712 · 14/09/2022 08:30

BBhugme, buy it right now!
I waited until my 3rd pregnancy to get an expensive pillow, and I wish I'd bought one early into my first pregnancy to get the most use out of it, I've had so much less hip/back pain this time (could be a coincidence I guess) but it's just so comfy, and you really can't put a price on sleep. I can imagine it'll be great on the sofa once babies here for all those snuggles/feeding x
