If you don't have a Health Visitor appointment before baby is born, when will you receive your Red Book?

If you don't have a Health Visitor appointment before baby is born, when will you receive your Parent Held child record (Red book)?

I got mine on the post natal ward. DS is 2 weeks old. We don't have HV apts before birth in our area (NW).

I got both mine After birth, one In hospital then one from health visitor when she came to do the newborn checks when my second was born as he was a homebirth
