Hi all,
so my last period started on 5th August. I have a 34/35 day cycle so my next period was due 8th/9th Sept. On 5th sept I started bleeding, but very strange period- was only blood visible when I wiped, nothing in regards to a flow. It was a pinkish red. The bleed lasted from evening of 5th until 8th in the morning but again, only blood when I wiped. Since the 5th- I’ve had a LOT of pregnancy symptoms, to include
breast tenderness and soreness
slight cramps
food aversions
calf aching
hot flushes
severe exhaustion
but main symptom is the veins in my boobs and legs are VERY prominent which has never happened before. They are visible even underneath the surface of my nipples.

my question is… I took pregnancy test yesterday morning and thismorning- both with first response and both negative. I’m extremely confused because I feel as though I am pregnant, but the evidence is suggesting I’m not- I should be around 5 weeks pregnant if I am so why am I still getting negative result??? Could it be because it’s been less than a week since I stopped the bleed?? Or do you think I’m just not pregnant and need to accept?

A false negative is a possibility. Or maybe you ovulated later than you think - do you track ovulation at all? Have you been pregnant before and if so when did you get a positive test? How old are you?

I track my ovulation just on my calendar and from previous months it was clear that ovulation was estimated 25th august. I had intercourse on 25th august. What would it mean if I ovulated later? Would that mean that there is still a possibility? I’ve had no other pregnancies and I am 29 :)

Yes, if you ovulated later in your cycle it's possible you're pregnant (because that would mean you're not as far along as you think, so the test can't pick up the hormone yet). Try testing again tomorrow I guess? Good luck!🤞
