Super Early Symptoms - is it really all in my head?!

So husband and I have been going and back and forth on baby number 3 for about a year!
we decided to stick at 2 but it wouldn’t be a disaster if it happens.

my cycles are 25-27 days (mainly 26). We have unprotected sex for the first time in forever on cd8 late at night so nearly cd9. (Got carried away, we’re normally super careful!) From about 5 days later I have felt pregnant, I have a heavy feeling in uterus, boobs are heavy and im convinced more veiny. I just feel like I did the other 2 times! I got pregnant first month with both other children.
im only on cd 17 today. From about cd 10/11 I’ve had lots of mucus and it’s been egg white and now more sticky so not sure what is going on.

Can this really all be in my head?! Surely it’s way too early to know either way. My period is due in about 10 days.

Some people do report super early symptoms, so who knows. I think it's unlikely, as your HCG levels wouldn't have increased enough to give you any indication as yet.
But I do wonder, reading this, whether you really are happy about sticking with 2 and not going for a 3rd? I am probably projecting but when I was with my ex, I wanted a third and he didn't so we decided not to... But I'd subconsciously be symptom spotting all the time, even though it was near impossible with the contraception I was taking.

this might be very true. I am completely 50/50 on a number 3, but this will definitely be a shock if it is a positive!

I hope you get what you want, whatever that is! FWIW I did have unusually tender boobs a few days before period was due, then a negative test when my period was around a week late, then a positive test a few weeks later... So you never know!
