Hi 👋
I am 16 weeks now and haven't heard anything from the midwife (will message tomorrow) but just wondering if they still do a 16 week check up? Thanks in advance x

I think most NHS trusts do a 16 week appointment with a community midwife. My community midwife is based at my GP doctors surgery not the hospital so I have to book my own appointments with her through the GP reception. You might want to check the process in your area

I would check with your midwife, my 16 week appointment was booked in advance but only as a telephone appointment. Every area is different.

In my area it's only first time or high risk pregnancies that get the 16 week appt. This is my second but because of my history I've been put on the first baby pathway.

Thank you guys.
I text the midwife today and she gave me a ring and she did the 16 week phone call right then... just telling me my blood type... blood results, booked a 24 week face-to-face appointment and asked if I had any questions x
