Just wondering if anyone has been in a similar situation. I have recently found out I am pregnant. My last period was 14/7/22 so I have been given a due date of 20/4/23 by my midwife and told I am now 8 + 3 days. I went for an early 8 week scan on Friday where we could only see a very small gestational sac that looked empty. The lady doing the scan said I should go to the hospital and wouldn't tell me much more as she was only a private company so couldn't give any medical advice. She said it's either very early or could be a miscarriage. I spoke to the midwife who is adamant my due date should be correct based on my period dates (which are always consistent) but the hospital can't get me in for an internal scan until Wednesday although I've also reported bleeding to them. Obviously I have wanted this for a long time and I am going out of my mind with worry and just wanted answers a bit sooner as I'm now struggling to get on with anything until I know. :(
