Hi there,

I was working in hospital today and I'm 24 weeks pregnant

My risk assessment says not to work with Covid as im pregnant so was working in a non Covid Ward however a patient was coughing all over me, a couple minutes later it was announced he was Covid positive and the Ward he got moved from forgot to put it in his chart
I was wearing face mask and gloves, I've came home for a shower but I'm really anxious I'll get Covid from this :(
I've had my 3rd booster but that was back in December 2021
I had Covid in febhary and felt quite rough ,
Any pregnant mamas has Covid how did they get on?

I had it at 18 weeks, felt rough, but thankfully no worse than when I have a cold, couldn't really sleep it off either as have a 7 year old, but was back to normal after a week

I had it at 10 weeks and again just felt like flu but that was my fourth time catching it so maybe I got off a little lightly. If you've had your boosters you've done what you could, just rest and seek help if you need too.

I had it at a similar gestation to you back in July. Had a headache and shivers and slept for about a day - RHR was about 20 beats higher than normal. Day two was feeling a bit better but still taking paracetamol. Day 3 I was able to function enough to sort out things in the house as that's when my husband and 2 year old came down with it. Hadn't had it before and hadn't had the booster (although had had the two initial vaccinations). Hadn't been exposed to someone I knew had it like you but equally hadn't been wearing a mask or gloves around either. If you've already had it you should have some mucosal immunity which will help too. 🤞

I had covid at 5 weeks and again at 31 weeks, I have only had one dose of the vaccine. I was fine at 5 weeks but at 31 weeks it was rough for a few days and then it was just like having a cold. Baby is here now and he is healthy xx

Hello.
i wonder if anybody else is experiencing it this time?
August 2023 and it seems to be on the rise again albeit a milder variant.

unfortunately my husband tested positive for it today. I am still currently negative.
i am now sleeping in a different room from his but crossing fingers that i wont catch it since we’re still living in the same house.

ive had my first two doses in 2021. No more additional booster doses after that. I also was covid positive july 2022.
im just worried because im currently 24 weeks pregnant.

Hiya there, I hope you are well. How did everything go? I am 28 weeks and also just tested positive and I'm feeling awful.

My DIL delivered February 28th, she had COVID during the pregnancy. The baby is healthy and beautiful. The only thing she noticed during her second COVID was loss of hair.
