Butlins whilst pregnant

Hi. I am 24 years old, 25 in October and going to a butlins adults weekend with my friends for my birthday. Been booked since Feb. However, I found out 2 weeks ago that I am pregnant. Completely unplanned and unexpected, and now that I’ve started to process I am happy and excited. Initially I still fully intended to go, obviously not drink, but now I’m having doubts. I will be around 12 weeks by then. I’m asking peoples advice if it’s still ok to go, dance and be around loud music, or not go? Although I will be devastated if I don’t go, especially as it will be for my birthday. Ahah. Thanks all

I would definitely still go!

Yes go, it's fine to dance and have a nice time when pregnant. Although you may be suffering from morning sickness / tiredness and not fancy dancing the night away! Congratulations on your pregnancy.

Bloody hell of course it is.

Thanks all for the advice, as it’s my first pregnancy I am anxious and don’t know what’s right or what’s wrong. As stated I fully intended on going, but doubts had started to creep in, so just wanted to make sure it was me being silly.

I went to Glastonbury and out clubbing loads all through pregnancy

what are you worried about

R600 · 10/09/2022 16:47

I don’t actually know what I’m worried about, just a case of uncertainty. I just wanted a bit of reassurance that it was fine and just me and my hormones being stupid.

It’s honestly fine once you feel up to it :)

I went at 9/10 weeks pregnant and still had a great time despite not drinking! I did slope off to the room around midnight whereas my friends stayed out till 4am.
It was quite noisy all through the night though I didn’t get that much sleep but other than that it was great!

Yes still go. You might feel abit rough with morning sickness but you will have a great time. I did bottomless brunches whilst in the first trimester (obviously had alcohol free Prosecco) but it was great going out, having fun and abit of a dance although I was ready for bed by 5pm as we went out at lunch Grin

I went to Butlins in May at 7 weeks pregnant with twins. It wasn't an adult weekend but was fine!

I went Butlins at 6 weeks pregnant I'm now 14 weeks. It was a toddler week so no alcohol, but plenty of loud music mainly Peppa pig, screaming excited kids and lots of tired parents. Go and enjoy some child free time, you'll find ways to make it just as enjoyable!!

It's fine, I went clubbing a fair amount. Just avoid alcohol
