Positive or Evap Line?

Hi,

This is my first time posting but have been a silent lurker for a while...

I'm due AF either today or tomorrow (usually a saturday but last months was a on the sunday) but for the past week have been feeling nauseous for a period of time multiple times throughout the day (no triggers like smells, etc). I've taken pregnancy tests for the past 3 days on FMU and SMU.

Day 1- different brands- 1 x negative and 1 x faint positive? (could be evap line)
Yesterday- same brand- 2 x faint positive?
Today- same brand as day 1 Neg- 2 faint positive?

Are these positive or just evap lines? In the past I've had either clear positives or negatives, never anything faint. The results this time werent immediate but were apparent within a minute or 2 and in the recommended timeframe. I've never tried Home bargains cheap tests so not sure how reliable they are. I have no tests left.

Do I wait until Monday and test again if AF doesn't come or are these pretty obvious? I don't want to tell DP and be wrong.

I usually dread looking at the pics on these threads as there are no second lines, but there are clear lines here.

Reasons why they might be faint:

  • you may have ovulated later so it might be earlier than you expect
  • your urine may be more diluted than usual
  • it may be a chemical pregnancy which will fade out
  • it might just be too early and the line will get stronger!

keep testing and congrats for now.

I'm not trying to conceive myself but saw your post and based on past experience those lines, the last pic especially, does look positive. If it makes you feel any better, I tested negative with all my pregnancies when I was a week late and then tested positive another week later (same each time). Wishing you lots of luck xx

Yup, my tests that looked like that are now arguing with me and leaving the kitchen in a terrible mess. Is this good news? X
