Miscarriage after HB at 8 weeks

Hi,
Im pregnant for the 5th time, following x4 previous missed miscarriages. This time we have seen a strong heartbeat at 6wks and 8wks. I have been reading / Googling and it seems like the chance of having a miscarriage reduces massively after seeing a HB at 8wks but I’m t has happened us previously. I jus wonder does anyone have any stories (positive or negative) from seeing the HB at this time? I want to stay positive but it is just so hard after 4 losses.

Sorry to hear about your losses, every pregnancy is different but I know doesnt matter how many times you experience a miscarriage that anxiety is with you throughout. I have a positive story (so far) to share.

Strong HB seen at 6 and 8 weeks due to bleeding, then healthy baby shown at 12 scan ( i was convinced i was having a mmc) and Midwife heard a heartbeat beat at 16 weeks.. Currently 17 weeks awaiting 20 scan.. Honestly, the anxiety that something is or will go wrong is still there, but fighting it off every day (exhausting)

Hi, been pregnant 4 times with two healthy children.

I had an easy pregnancy followed by two mc then my 4th was ok.

2nd and 3rd pregnancy - no hb at 8 week scan

4th pregnancy I did have a HB at 8 weeks scan and all was well. I still found every scan after really scarey as you just think the worst

I had 9 week scan today and all is looking good still / so far. Lovely HB and even saw little fingers wiggling! We’ve never got to this stage before so really hoping for a successful pregnancy!
