Awful pain like a stitch when I walk. 37 weeks pregnant

I went for a short walk to the shop after I realised my deodorant was running low. Soon after starting the walk I began getting a pain right across the bottom of my bump like a stitch pain! It kept coming and going and I had to keep stopping and rubbing my bump to ease the pain. I’m home now it’s gone. Is anyone else get this pain so late on? Is it baby lying on nerves ? Or is my body telling me to rest?

I'm 34+6 and I've been having this a lot at night for the past two weeks. I don't think it's to do with needing rest as I've generally been in bed when it happeneds. I don't know if it's a different type of ligament pain maybe?

I had that with my first pregnancy (although earlier than 37 weeks) - couldn't walk far, so had to cycle everywhere instead. It was only walking that caused it. 🤷

Could be BH, baby stretching, baby on a nerve, contractions, a stitch... so many things! If it doesn't progress and resting makes it stop then it's not too much of a worry.
I often get BH or baby stretching when walkng and its really uncomfortable (nearly 36 weeks) DD1 and DD2 weren't like this but this babies position is different and it feels really odd! x
