Is it normal to feel the baby move lots one day but not so much the next at this stage?

By when should I start recognising a pattern?

22w 4d and going through the same, do you have an anterior placenta? Some days baby is wild and other days pretty quiet, I have been in to get it checked a few times and has been fine each time ❤️ it's so worrying but I think at this point it is relatively normal

Between 24 and 28 weeks you’ll start to notice a pattern to movements :) and if you notice any change make sure you get checked out.

I'm 21 weeks today and some days I feel him more than others. It's beginning to follow a very vague pattern like with DD - mornings, evenings, and after meals, but some days he seems more active.

Very normal at that stage.

I’m 24 weeks on Monday and still had quiet days this week. Phoned the MAU at one point, she asked me to phone the maternity advice line instead as was a bit early for immediate concern about reduced movements but my voice on the initial call must have woken him up (I was alone in the house so it had been quiet!) so didn’t ever bother phoning the advice line. I think he moved position and I’ve been told my placenta is at the front so think he was just in a position where everything was being cushioned.
I started to feel flutters at 13 weeks or so (3rd pregnancy) so it does feel like ages that I’ve been feeling him and such a gradual increase. Kind of expected it to suddenly ramp up but it’s definitely been v gradual.
I’d try not to worry, from reading lots of threads, no pattern and quiet days seems normal until 28 weeks
