8 weeks, toddler climbed and leant on lower stomach

My heavy toddler was climbing while I was lying on the couch and suddenly leant on me with his hand and put most of his weight on my right lower stomach just above public bone. It didn't hurt but of course I'm panicking that it could have impacted my womb and damaged the baby or placenta. I've heard that the womb is below the public bone still but all diagrams online put it above and very close to lower stomach at this point. I haven't had bleeding or anything.

Am I overreacting? Its hard navigating pregnancy with a active toddler and it's only very early days, on my first one I could mind myself alot more.

Appreciate anyone reading this

Most second pregnancies involve a toddler using the belly as a trampoline.

The pregnancy will be absolutely fine.

Don't worry, it will be fine.

There would be no little brothers or sisters in the world if pregnancies were that delicate!

It'll be fine. I fell down a flight of seven or eight steps and splatted on my belly with twins in at 38 weeks. No worries.

As others have said, it will be absolutely fine. People are pregnant around bouncy toddlers all the time. The pregnancy is so well protected in your body. Relax

It will be fine. I’ve been booted and elbowed in the stomach many times this pregnancy by my 3 year old!

28 weeks and constantly have my toddler using me as a trampoline as PP so accurately put it.

Thanks so much to everyone, I feel much better about it 😊
