How long until I go into labour?

I'm trying to make sure I go into labour by 40 weeks, due to previous immune-related losses.

I had a sweep on Monday at 39 weeks which couldn't be done properly because my cervix was still closed at the top. My bishop score was only 1 at that point.

Yesterday, I had another sweep - this one went well and my cervix was open. My bishop score was 4.

A few hours later, once I was home, I had red bloody show. Today, I had brown bloody show. There was quite a lot of it, so I think it may all be out now.

Does that mean I might go into labour soon, even though my bishop score was only 4 yesterday?

Have you tried any antenatal expressing?
This (and bringing on labour) works best when you are calm and relaxed so treat yourself to a luxuriously long shower or your favourite film, I also enjoyed a small glass of red wine at this point in pregnancy!

I went into labour 4 days after my bloody show from a sweep. So hopefully you may start soon :)

Thank you, yes, I'm harvesting my colostrum - about two syringes a day. I don't think I'm that relaxed though, as I'm feeling quite nervous! Maybe I should try a little glass of wine!

Thank you, maybe I'll go into labour before my induction then! I'm just not sure because my bishop score wasn't very high.

I had a sweep at 41 weeks and it didn't work, had bloody show and some cramping but I was told if nothing happens within 48hours then it hadn't worked.
I eventually naturally went into labour a few hours before I was due to be induced. That was with 3rd baby.
