Does anyone have any positive experiences with getting a sweep that early?

I'm booked in next week when I will be 37+3 to see if my cervix is "favourable" for a sweep & will then be booked in for an induction the following week as baby is measuring 8.12 as of today!

Yes kind of lol. I had a sweep last week at 1.30pm, waters broken at 4.15 and began the drip at 6.30 and my daughter was born after 1 hour of gas and air at 10.18pm. I was only 37+2 and was already 2cm when they did the sweep. By the time I was on the monitor before they broke my waters I was contracting 3 every 10 mins but I didn't even know!

Meeeee…..but to add I was high risk for pre term labour , th e consultant was super surprised I made it as far as I did. She thought baby would come around 34 weeks as my cervix was weak. baby was very low from 30 weeks, sweep in the morning , labour that evening, baby arrived next morning>. I was 37+3, had an induction book for 37+5
