Nub theory warning!!!

Hi guys

just bit of a warning not to get too hung up on nub theories. I became obsessed with mine - sent off to two different ‘professional’ sites.

one said girl one said boy. 98% sure it was a boy is a high percentage to give someone that’s not scientifically proven 🧐 I was given loads of different picture at the scan and it occurred to me that the nub looked completely different in each one. Guessing it’s from how the sonographer angles it..

.I’ll attatch below the nub techs reasoning and scan pics. Just a caution for anyone getting obsessed with it 😂🙄

I’d go with the nub techs: the other company unfortunately are often wrong

Nub techs all the way, I personally don't believe in the skull theory and the fact they've used it is just a no sign for me

I think nub theory is quite accurate but only if you get a clear shot of the nub and at the right gestation. The problem with these companies is that they will take your money and guess even if it isn't very obvious from the scan.

Also those seem to be 2 different scan pics? Skull theory is totally unreliable imo and I don't trust any company that claims to use it.

Yeah - so it’s the same baby totally different angle and scan pics. So each gave different results. The nub on the one that was precited girl is straight...where as the other isn’t. You can see how they get it wrong if the same baby is showing as girl / boy depending on angle that sonographer captures. I reckon this is why you can’t find out gender till 16 weeks xx

Attached are the ones I sent..and I can see how one was predicted girl and the other boy..yet the photo was taken a minute or so apart.. was just posting so people don’t waste thier money like I did as babies can photograph so differently dependent on angle. Guessing they are right for some people as 50% odds is a high chance x

Oh sorry, I get you now. I think it was very bad of the company who guessed on the pic on the left. The leg is in the way, it's completely unclear and obviously it has hidden a lot of what you can see in the pic without the leg behind.
I totally agree with you about those companies by the way, they are really bad and the percentages they give are rubbish, I don't think anyone should part with money for their guesses.

Nub experts gave me 85% boy they sed they culd see a raise....
everyone on here sed deffo straight nub girl!
and shes a girl wuldnt pay for nub experts anymore

I sent my scan pic to 2 companies and they both said boy, 20 week scan said girl

Boy at gender scan and boy at subsequent scans..my babies due in a few weeks..so we shall see if it is right 😅

this time I used the nub techs who said 75% girl but another company said there’s no nub visible (which I thought also) so don’t believe them… I find out sat so we shall see😅 xx

What did your scan look like?

im having the same issue here but due to been scanned 8 days apart!.. 12+4 - nub techs & early glimpse gave me 85% confidence of baby been a girl.. fast forward 8 days i had a scan at EPAU due to a bleed - nub techs & early glimpse both then predict a boy with 1. 98% confidence, and the other 99.9% confidence 🤦🏻‍♀️ i know its an old thread but im wondering if any of you could help if i were to post both sets of scans & nub theory results..?
