I've noticed the last few midwife appointments the baby's heart rate seems to be lower, usually around 140ish, but today it was 130, and yesterday on a ctg the baseline was around 128.
Does this usually happen in the third trimester as the baby gets bigger ?
Overthinking as usual

I'm in my final weeks of pregnancy and HR was on the high side yesterday (170-180), midwife nearly sent me for ctg but HR came down to 150range and stayed that way.

If you midwife was concerned she would send you for a ctg but for your own peace of mind you could call triage and ask if you could come in for a check.

Just incase anyone comes across this I spoke to a midwife at the hospital and she said it's normal for the baby's heart rate to slowly drop and settle, it's due to them getting stronger apparently. I had a ctg last night and the baseline was around 130's
