NHS maternity pay

Sorry just been reading a different NHS maternity pay thread and didn't know if it was best to jump on there and ask this question or start my own thread so here goes....
I'm 19 weeks and at present am doing as much OT as I can in these weeks to enhance my maternity pay. If we are to get our pay rise backdated from April as a lump in this month's wages am I right in thinking that this will add even more because the whole amount will go into the pot to be averaged out to come up with my mat pay?
Hopefully someone can help, not even sure I'm making sense to be honest.

Yes. Your mat pay will be based on your backdated salary
