Will my baby be early?

I'm 36+5 weeks with my first baby. I've been expecting it to come late as I thought most first pregnancies go a bit overdue.

2 days ago I had a scan where the baby is 80% engaged, yesterday I noticed my bump has massively dropped, and I feel lots of pressure in my pelvis and lower back aches.

Are these signs baby will be early or are these normal things to happen at 36 weeks?

I have lost my mucus plug a whopping 5 times now (who knew it regenerates!) so I wouldn’t get too excited but definitely a good sign. I am not engaged yet but first lost my mucus plug at 32 weeks (now 38 and frustrated as baby isn’t even engaged yet) 😥 good luck Mumma!!!

Maybe, maybe not. Mucus plug can regenerate and baby can pop in and out of being engaged unfortunately 🙈
Fingers crossed you don't have to wait too long though x

I’m 37 weeks baby has been engaged for 1 week and I lost a little plug I’m 1cm dilated, very soft too! I do hope she will be here soon as it’s so uncomfortable

I lost my mucus plug at 34/35 weeks with ds1. He was engaged at 36 weeks and I was induced at 38 weeks.
They come when they want and just troll us with 'signs' of labour.

Plug can regenerate...
Not always a sign of early labour.

Im 34 weeks and she was engaged quite well at my 33 week scan. Dr agreed i could be induced at 39 weeks, discussed birth plan with midwife on Friday.
Lots of movement early hours of Sunday morning and I'm 99% sure she back to being transverse again which means I'll need a section. That wasn't the plan 😩
