BFN no AF? Confused?

A little back information:

Fertile days: 3rd to 9th July

Sex: 11th July (penetrated but didn't ejaculate inside).

Period due 22nd July but did not arrive. FRER test both negative on day 4 and 7.

Clear blue tests on day 13 and 14, both negative (digital showed as "not pregnant").

Most recent FRER pregnancy test taken today at day 44.

What could it be? Has anyone else been this late for their period?

BFN no AF? Confused?

Yep. Currently on day 69. I called the doctors.. Went for blood test. Awaiting results. I'm wondering if its the start of premature menopause.

I'm 32 and have had weight fluctuations and have been taking supplements so I'm not sure whether that's affected a period. Im currently taking noreistherone for 3 days to see whether it can induce a period.

You say fertile days but are you sure you ovulated? My (limited) understanding is that usually if your period is delayed it's because you either ovulated late or didn't ovulate and therefore it can take longer for the hormones to build to the level of triggering bleeding.

Going by what you've said it seems unlikely that you're pregnant although not impossible.

I'm going according to my period tracker, so that's around the projected date of ovulation for the first cycle. I've now missed 2 full cycles.

Right so it's possible you didn't ovulate then?www.naturalcycles.com/cyclematters/anovulatory-cycles-explained

FWIW it happened to a friend of mine last year - she had no period for 2 months, it came back in month 3. Her GP refused investigations until no period for 3 months...

Thank you for this, had a read. I didn't know this actually happened. My next point of call is to call my GP, but they usually say wait for 3 cycles to pass 🤷🏽‍♀️

Not necessarily. There's two NHS pages which contradict each other about when to see a doctor. I think its the page on missed/late period, it says 3 months. But irregular periods page just says to see a doctor if they become irregular and you're under 45.
