me and my Husband have come on a 5 night break to Majorca I have been so so careful with what I eat just sticking to veggie options, my husband has been eating raw fish and meat and is fine! I woke up last night achey and cold and then when I woke up have had sickeness and the other end! I have only been sick once so far though, and am drinking lots of water! Last night I had a pulled pork wrap and I think it must be that I really was pondering if I should be eating meat but made sure it was boiling hot etc. But it must have been that, unless it was ice in drinks, anyway I’m so worried it will harm the baby I am 11 weeks and feel such awful guilt and worry :(

It's more likely that you've picked up a bug op. It doesn't sound like food poisoning if you've only been sick once.

If you're really worried you can go to a centro de salud (basically walk in centre / A&E cross). If you have a EHIC card you can go free of charge. If no ehic card you need a PCR - see more info here www.nhs.uk/using-the-nhs/healthcare-abroad/apply-for-a-free-uk-global-health-insurance-card-ghic/

I got pneumonia in Mallorca a couple of years ago and the doctor at the centro de salud was very helpful. There was virtually no waiting time either. Unlike the A&E queues you see in the UK these days.

Make that twice :( maybe it could be a bug but it just feels very much like food poisoning I shouldn’t have gone onto google as I now can’t stop worrying x

Sounds like a bug not food poisoning. No need for a walk in centre you'll just spread it around.

I had food poisoning from a (highly rated smart!) restaurant in the UK who served me undercooked chicken when I was about 28 weeks. It was horrific throwing up with a massive bump, but my child is a healthy happy 4 year old now. I couldn’t stop vomiting and had to have a nasty injection in my bum after 24 hours as they were concerned about dehydration, but they weren’t concerned about the baby at all. If you’re worried , seek medical attention, but just try to rest and stay hydrated. Wishing you all the best!

I had food poisoning for a whole month when I was very very early pregnant. My now nearly four your old is sitting eating chocolate and watching football. It has unfortunate side effects for us but shouldn’t harm baba.

Thank you all so much, in bed now and hoping it will feel a lot better tomorrow it’s very reassuring to hear people have also had it and all was fine :) I’m fine with feeling like crap as long as baby is safe x

It's Majorca not Mumbai.

“MumUndone · Today 22:01
