Hi
Sorry, don't know - I doubt there's been much research into this.
I can tell if you balance the laptop on the bump as you get bigger, they soon complain - I am getting lots of kicks!!

SallyInYorkshire · 22/01/2008 16:50

Blimey I hope so cos I am always using mine!!!
seriously I read somewhere it is fine as long as you do not fry your bump with the heat of the computer!

RustyBear · 22/01/2008 16:54

If you're worried, don't actually balance it on your bump - any exposure goes down massively the further away it is, so having it twice as far away reduces the signal strength by much more than half.

No way could I have got a laptop on my lap when more than 6m pg with either of mine wouldn't have been able to see the screen!

Know the feeling Flibberty - I have to put my feet up on the stool to have enough of a lap for my laptop as I type this!

I did try to balance it on my bump, but as RBear says, LO objected phsyically. Good way to check he is still OK in there mind! LOL

I put a pillow on my bump if I have it anywhere near me.
