McDonald's halloumi fries

Anyone know if you can have maccies halloumi fries ? Craving halloumi fries but worried it's not pasteurised ?

Even if it’s not pasteurised (which I’m pretty sure it would be but just in case), it’s cooked isn’t it? You can have unpasteurised cheeses such as Brie if they’re cooked as the cooking/heating process would kill any bacteria.

You’ll be fine! You can eat unpasteurised brie if it’s deep fried ..and with cranberry sauce obviously!

For future reference, halloumi is cooked once when heating up the milk, and again when making it into curds and whey. And again when it is shaped and boiled. So when it is fried it is the fourth time it is cooked.

Ooh didn't know Maccies did halloumi fries so will check them out.

They are delicious, but hellish pricey, @ £2.50 for 4!

They are not vegetarian, just in case that's relevant!

Think they are finishing next Tuesday so I'd get in quick!
