First pregnancy, 8 weeks and overthinking twinges

Hi everyone!

I am 8 weeks pregnant and overthinking every twinge. I am struggling with constipation and generally know when I feel pain as a result because I get pressure in my bottom at the same time. My sickness has ramped up this week, especially yesterday. Today I have pubic bone pain. It is not stopping me in my day-to-day business, I have no period cramps or bleeding. I just have pain on the left side of the pubic bone. Has anyone had this before? I am wondering with the combination of sickness and constipation have I pulled a muscle or made an area tender from all of the tensing?

I have not phoned the midwife or EPU, as I am not in extreme pain and don't want to make a fuss. I keep telling myself, that if something is wrong then I would know about it.

Thank you.

I’ve had a lot of twinges and pains in my pregnancy @SFrancis1. The most unpleasant were stomach pains from constipation/gas - sorry - for the first few weeks, which by 11-12 weeks got replaced by round ligament pains. If you’re not heavily cramping and bleeding it’s overwhelmingly likely to be fine. x
