Just what it says. Idk how we hadn’t thrown it away and it was in the freezer the whole time. What should I do? Freaking the hell out here

I didn’t eat much of it but I’ve been crying since ages

If it was in the freezer it will be fine. Just a bit tasteless.

Don't worry about it. If it had been off you would have tasted that. Off diary is not something you can miss.

Cheese can keep indefinitely in the freezer, but it’s taste quality goes off after 6-9 months depending on brand. So it will be perfectly safe if it’s been in the freezer all that time, but I imagine it wasn’t very tasty! But it won’t hurt you.

It tasted absolutely fine but I don’t know I’m crying so much. I’m so worried about the baby

It will be fine, as PPs have said, the freezer will have kept it safe

dementedpixie · 01/09/2022 23:20

It's been in the freezer so what's the issue?
Quality may suffer but its not going to harm you

felulageller · 01/09/2022 23:20

The expiration isnt relevant if it's been frozen!

Luredbyapomegranate · 01/09/2022 23:21

It'll be hormones / anxiety. It's fine honestly. Just not a gourmet experience, although perhaps the baby will come out with a taste for bland cheddar. Call your GP surgery and ask to speak to the nurse in the AM if you want reassurance, but honestly don't worry at all. Human beings have had to survive eating all sorts of old food for tens of thousands of years, and unborn babies are more than able to cope.

bloodywhitecat · 01/09/2022 23:23

It is absolutely fine, you have 100% not harmed your baby or yourself.

Thank you so much guys I’ve had the worst stress and anxiety throughout this pregnancy, i don’t care about myself but I do about my baby. This is the furthest I’ve gotten in any pregnancy
