Anyone flown with Ryanair whilst pregnant?

I’m flying with Ryanair next week, coming back when 28 weeks, and trying to get my gp to fill out the fit to fly form in time- they can’t guarantee they can do it yet however- and I fly on Wednesday!
my question is whether I should pay for a private fit to fly letter, and whether Ryanair will accept this, rather than their own form? If anyone has experience of giving them a letter instead of the form that would be great!

Thank you @FBT that’s really helpful. I spoke to zoomdoc yesterday and he was helpful. It’s just so frustrating that on the nhs website about the fit to fly it states your doctor/midwife does it and neither of them say they do it.

@Trezt Yes I know. I had the same issue. 🙁

Update on fit to fly, zoomdoc won’t do the fit to fly but spoke to my doctors again (to someone different on reception) and they said they can do it now! But the issue is it takes 1 month to sign off and I fly Tuesday 🙄

Just thought I would type my experience here for anyone travelling more recently. I was 27 weeks for my departure flight and 29 for return. Despite paying for a fit to fly from Zoomdoc for the route there (to be safe) and on the way back (as I was then over 28 weeks) I wasn’t asked for a fit to fly once. Paid £120 to be safe! What a pain!!!! So much stress getting it sorted. I am also very visibly pregnant and I never tried to hide it. It’s a con!
