Hi ladies, I want to book in an early scan at around 8 weeks for peace of mind. Does anyone have any experience with Window to the Womb clinics? The private obstetrician gynaecologist I used when pregnant with my son is on holiday from the time I'll be 8-10 weeks! Grateful for any experiences.

We used them once for an early scan very lovely staff. I was nervous after a loss beforehand. Very kind and calming because they knew I was nervous

Yes have had great experiences with them.

I have a few times, just for reassurance and they were great.

I’ve used them twice (for an early scan at 9-10 weeks), and a reassurance scan at 29 weeks. Both were fab!

Yes for early scan with both my pregnancy & found them very good.

Yes I saw them in Middlesborough at 8 weeks. I had an internal. It was a great experience staff were lovely x

Thanks everyone - I'm sold based on all of those positive experiences! 😊

I had an early scan and a 4d scan at window to the womb in brum.
you get an escort and the sonographer and big screens to see your scan. They also give you a report too

I would always advise seeing an obstetrician if you want reassurance. We did one and it was nice to see the heartbeat, but didn’t find it very reassuring.

Bella9992 · 01/09/2022 21:52

We've had scans done there and it's always been really great.

I had my 16 week one there and it was good 😊 they do try and make it like going on a rollercoaster and buying the photo, toy and T-shirt at the gift shop but that’s obviously optional 😂

Also if you drink excessive amounts of water before it you might be able to get away with just a normal ultrasound. I nearly wet myself at my early scan but after gearing myself up for the internal scan they were able to see just from the ultrasound

Yes I had an internal scan at 8 weeks and it was absolutely fine. Bit of a rip off, but it gave us reassurance and that's priceless.

We had 2 early scans with them and have booked a 4D one too so the kids can come with us. Very happy with them
