Hey guys, I’m 30 weeks today and this is the furthest I’ve ever gotten in any pregnancy. I’ve started getting some weird cramps around 2 hours ago, they’re not that bad but they’re still going on. Basically they feel like I’m about to get an upset stomach (TMI, sorry) but I don’t have an upset stomach at all. They kind of get better slightly when I’m laying on my right side, but they’re quite bad when I’m sitting, standing or lying on my left. They’re all over my bump tbh, the pain started on the top of my bump and now it’s all over. The cramps aren’t that strong or painful but they’re so weird because I haven’t had anything like this in the pregnancy and I’m so worried, even though baby’s moving around a lot. I’ve been trying to call my midwife and triage since the last hour but my midwife never answers, and triage are constantly busy. I don’t know what to do, I’m just gonna keep trying to call them I hope they answer. It’s probably nothing serious, but I don’t want to take any risks especially after recurrent miscarriages, and the fact that I was born at 32 weeks myself. They’re not strong enough that I need to take paracetamol but they do hurt. I was scared about pre-eclampsia too as I have gestational diabetes too but thankfully I have a blood pressure monitor at home and my blood pressure seems to be normal. The cramps are now at the bottom of my bump 🥺 any idea what this can be guys? Braxton hicks?
