What can I take for anxiety when pregnant?

I’m hoping to conceive #2 in the next few months. I have a very stressful job that has caused me to suffer with anxiety recently and I take propranolol (beta blockers) on the way there every day. My GP suggested I try antidepressants for something less short term but now I am thinking of having another baby I don’t want to take the risk (autism and heart defects were mentioned).

I’m due to hand my notice in I think as I just can’t do it anymore, it’s that or I go off sick. Is there any safe medication or anything natural I can take to get me through my pregnancy at work? I really don’t want to do myself out of maternity pay but can see no other way to survive 9 months in there 🤦🏼‍♀️ Thanks!

I take 50mg setraline for my anxiety. Midwife says it's fine aslong as dose doesn't get upped during the pregnancy x

Sertraline is fine in pregnancy.

Thanks, maybe I should just go on it then, I just didn’t want to if there was any chance it was doing my baby any harm
