NCT course choice

Which NCT course to choose- advice please:
So I can choose a really local course but all face to face sessions including a long 5 hour Saturday and weekday sessions finish at 10pm , the area is less well off, many of the women won't be working full time.
Or I can choose a group 10 mins drive away which is hybrid- part zoom part face to face. The further away course is a very very affluent area, the women aren't likely to be working either but in this case as they are so wealthy.
My husband and I are fairly well off, we still struggle for money like everyone. Both work full time, commute into London but I would say we sit in the middle between the demographics of these two groups.
I'm torn between wanting to do the hybrid course but not sure which group of people I'm most likely to bond with.
I know I'm overthinking it but so many people say these are friends for life so I want to make the right decision.
Any thoughts? Thanks!

A big part of NCT is connecting with people so I can’t see how being part zoom is a benefit. IME so much time was spent just chatting things over so you could get to know each other and bond. They were long days but needed to be to achieve that.

Don’t know the ‘demographics’ of your area but NCT isn’t cheap so tends to be more skewed to middle classes in general.

I have a professional career but still feel like one of the poorer members of our group. Hotel breaks etc are being suggested which we won’t be able to afford.

Depends how important that is to you and if you can keep up with the lifestyle of the richer group while on mat leave. But I wouldn’t expect your local group to be the ‘on the breadline’ mums as they will do the free NHS classes.

Go to the face to face one in the less affluent area. There will be less insufferable middle class competition for who weaves the most lentils!
