Hi everyone,
i’ve been diagnosed with GD again, was tested later in my last pregnancy and managed diet controlled, however this time round I have really bad sickness which I’m still taking medication for but still feel awful through the day. Have tried a few different ones. I can’t see myself being diet controlled this time as the only thing I want to eat is carb heavy foods.

I’m wondering if I ask to go on metformin if that will allow me to have more carbs? I know in theory it should but just wondering from your experience, if it allowed you to eat more of a balance because when I was diet controlled I couldn’t tolerate much carb at all so was high protein diet and minimal carbs or low carb breads etc. i just can’t can’t stomach half the food I was eating then due to my sickness.

I’d be grateful for any experiences or advice x
