Bump at 7 weeks

Hi everyone, I’m finding it hard to cover up my tummy and I’m only 7 weeks pregnant. I do naturally have a bit of a rounded tummy so I’m not sure whether this is why I’m showing quicker? Is this just bloat or an actual bump? Just need some reassurance, feel so big already. Keep joking with my hubby that it might be twins!

It’s just bloating. Normal if uncomfy.

@Strawb27 im the exact same although I’m around 8 weeks (I do have other children so will show sooner) but this is deffo not bloat as not in the slightest bit uncomfortable.

I was the same, my twins are now 11…..

Definitely bloating at this stage… it should soon go.

Yep I had this bloat too. Sooo uncomfortable!

Bloating I'm afraid. The uterus is still tucked away inside the pelvis for weeks yet because baby is so small

I didn't show until 27 weeks.

If it's your first baby then it's just bloat.

I'm on pregnancy number 3 and had a full on bump at 7 weeks that never deflated, just got bigger.

It doesn’t seem to be going, just starting to get bigger! X

I’m not really uncomfortable, but I am getting loads of cramps and twinges! X

Well my dad is adopted so you never know could be twins haha xx

Thanks for your reply. I know it can’t be ‘bump’ because I know how small baby is, but it does feel hard xx

Thanks for your reply. Ahh yes I see what you mean.. this is my first pregnancy, but I feel the same as you like it’s not bloat it’s the start of a bump, but it does look big to me for how far I am. I am quite rounded in the tummy anyway in fact I’ve had someone say to me ‘are you pregnant?’ When I wasn’t, so that’s why I think it’s just the shape of me and now it’s exaggerated xxx

@babyguess oh god really? Is it just 1? I didn’t show til about 25/26 weeks with number 3. I’m pregnant with number 4 now and still nothing yet… almost 20 weeks.

Yep definitely just the one! I've had three in three years so I also think that must have something to do with it...

@Strawb27 most people will say it's not possible for that to be a bump and technically that is true but...I also get a bump (not bloat - looks different!) from 7-8 weeks. Even my Mum noticed last time and she's usually the first to say I'm imagining things.

By the time I was 4-5 months I was huge with people sounding shocked that I wasn't further along (wanted to punch them!). But it all worked out just fine!!
