I got aches fron 5 weeks or so.

As your uterus moves up into your body, it's normal not to have to pee as often.

If you have any questions at all, ask your midwife. They are there to help.

Go easy on the nights out and the dancing. It's fun but may make you more tired than you realise.

daisy26 · 23/01/2008 07:18

yeh I know maybe I just not gotta go out as much

I gave up going out when I got pregnant which I thought I'd hate, but I've actually quite liked being homely, and you can always have the girls round for take away nights and things. Plus it's amazing how much money you save.

TBH I haven't touched a drop whilst pregnant, but my main worry has always been people bumping into me or over doing it if I went out. So I've kept well away. I've found it best to be pampered and looked after while I'm pregnant.

Plus it gets harder as you go along and soon going out will seem like the stupidest thing eva when you could lounge about and not bother. And this is from a girl who used to LOVE to party.

I reckon if you're getting pains it's probably time to start taking things easy. And always go to your midwife if you've got pains- as everyone else said.

yeh think it is gonna kill me hehe-i know I can go out and not drink and ill still have fun but I think yep we are going to have to have nights in and chill-still be fun allot of my mates are party people tho-oh well gotta give up something if going to put me in pain i suppose. Thanks for the advice

FWIW I used to get cramps all the way through my pregnancy with DD, from very early on to very late into the pregnancy. It was usually worse if I'd been doing a lot too. I was always complaining to DP, and worrying such an awful lot. Sometimes I would get a stitching pain very low down too, which was very early on. When I told the MW at my booking appt, she just said it was down to everyting moving, growing, stretching etc and apart from this I had a completely normal, healthy pregnancy. Hope everything goes well for you and congratulations .

Oh yes, and I think the peeing all the time does die off! That is, until you get bigger and your uterus is pushing down on your bladder so don't worry all that will come back!

Hi Daisy - sounds like you are getting ready for motherhood! I hate it when people bump into me. I want to say to them "hello, pregnant lady here - watch where you're going".

daisy26 · 24/01/2008 21:26
