Had hyperemesis with my previous two pregnancies and I know I should be counting my lucky stars that I'm not sick again but I can't stop worrying it's a negative sign. Only 5 weeks but by this time with my precious I was bedbound.
Any reassuring stories?

I never had it. In fact I struggled to believe I was pregnant at all for the first two years trimesters

Same here, I’m 7 weeks with my first and don’t feel sick at all. Very sore boobs though.
I keep doing tests to see if it’s still positive - I just expecting a rougher ride than this. I’ve read up and it says it usually kicks in at 8-12weeks, but up to 30% never experience it all. Maybe lucky this time :)

I'm pregnant with #3 and had horrendous sickness the first 2 times. I was never diagnosed with hyperemesis but i was sick 20+ times a day and had constant nausea from the day I found out I was pregnant until I gave birth both times. I've surprisingly been okay so far this time. I have been sick a few times but its always been first thing in the morning when my stomach is empty. I've noticed it's only happening this time if I let my stomach get empty, so I'm trying to eat at least every 2-3 hours and have been fine doing this so far. I have found my tastes have changed in this pregnancy and I don't want foods I usually like and am craving things I wouldn't normally eat.

I'm only 9+6 (NHS have me at 10+5 but I'm 90% sure this will get pushed back at my scan as I have long cycles but they always give EDD based on lmp regardless until scan) so I haven't had a scan yet to confirm everything is okay but I'm not worried at all. I'm grateful to be able to eat this time. Fwiw I had a miscarriage at 7 weeks a few years ago and was just as sick that time as I was the first 2 times. This time I have to keep reminding myself I'm pregnant. I do have other symptoms like tiredness and incredibly sore boobs that have trebled in size. my first 2 are girls so part of me is wondering if it's a boy this time and that's why it feels so different.
