Please help : sac is measuring bigger than baby & dates are off

Hello, hoping you can help me. By my dates I thought it l was 10 weeks, but went for a scan yesterday & they said they couldn't see the baby due to a tilted uterus, so I booked another private scan today to have an internal as I was very worried. The ultrasound today showed that the baby was measuring 6 w 2 days and the sac was 7 weeks, and that it was an enlarged sac & that a miscarriage might be the result of this. Has anyone been in this situation ? I took a test and it's still strong. No pain and no bleeding present.

Sorry @hernandezcla. If you’re fairly sure about your dates your worry is understandable. In my previous pregnancy I had a miscarriage at 10 weeks but the baby stopped growing at 6-7 and I had no symptoms. I was measuring around 2 weeks behind on the early scan though and had an issue with the sac too - mine was too small, but neither are good signs from what I gathered, so it wasn’t altogether a shock when MC came. I hope you have a better outcome but it’s a tough one.. x

I am afraid I have been in this situation twice before and both pregnancies ended up in missed miscarriages. I know you do get some people though who it works out for and they have just ovulated later than expected but the sac also not looking right is not a good sign. Best wishes.
