22 weeks & no movement

I'm 22 weeks pregnant with my first baby and haven't felt any movement at all yet. I have a posterior placenta so I feel like there's no reason why I should be feeling anything yet. My BMI is above 30 if that would make any difference?

I'm worried that something is wrong. Has anyone else experienced the same and everything was OK? I was considering calling maternity triage but I wasn't sure if they'd just tell me to give it a couple more weeks, as I've seen on the NHS website to contact them if no movement is felt by 24 weeks.

My bmi is also over 30 and I have a posterior placenta. I’ve been feeling baby (number 3) move since 16 weeks and her movements are now so strong my tummy moves on the outside. I am 25 weeks today but she’s been very active definitely since 20 weeks. I’d maybe ring the maternity unit and just get them to check everything is ok. X

New mum here. Anterior placenta and didn't feel regular movement until after 26 weeks! Even then it was quite difficult xx

I know they say its normal to not feel baby until 24weeks but I think I would ring. I felt mine from 14 and 16 weeks and have a bmi above 30. Please say you are worried about it and would like to be checked.

I’m always so shocked when I hear people say they felt their baby at 14 weeks! I was 24-26 weeks.

Im pregnant with my 4th and only started to feel movement at 26 weeks this time round with my others I felt movement from 18ish weeks.
I was told you only need to worry if you feel movement and you stop feeling it.

Thanks all - I think I'll give them a ring first thing tomorrow and just see what they say.
