I'm 28 weeks tomorrow and struggling with pain in my abdomen. I'm on my feet for 8-9 hours at work and by the time I get home I'm literally crying with discomfort (and hormones...).
My bump feels heavy, I'm carrying quite low, but the main pain is in the top of my abdomen, it feels like my muscles in the middle are trying to tear themselves off of my ribs. I've been off work the last two days to try to get some rest and improve comfort but I went for a short walk this afternoon and after about 15 minutes the pain was back. I'm alright if I lie on the sofa, lol. I'm also getting tightenings (I assume braxton hicks, they're not painful, just uncomfortable) when I stand for too long.
I've got a bump band (the one pictured) which was ok but I don't feel it's helping any more. I can't sit down to do my job, I'm the only person in the business who can do it (my clients have just had to be let down this week as I couldn't carry on) and I'm concerned that I'm planning to carry on working for another 8 weeks, which feels impossible at this point.
Any suggestions for better bump support would be greatly appreciated.
