Hello. Not sure where I'm going with this but feel I need to let everything in my head out as I can't speak to anyone else lol!

I'm 26, work full time in my dream job, looking to go further. I own my home, partner is out if this world and currently studying whilst working full time too. I am living the dream lol! We have a 7 year old, yes as you guessed...the BEST child ever.

Have been saying "yeah we're happy with our family, we may adopt or foster but not really looking to have another of out own".

Boom...Pregnant.

Not really sure what to do...feel a little all over the place. We have had lovely thoughts of us with another child...me walking along the marina with a coffee in hand after dropping my first to school, the popping to a playgroup. How amazing right?

Or it is going to be a living hell lol? We are both on the fence, I was looking to go to University, would be studying roughly for 3/4 years...(do it with baby? Qualified when they're going into school). Never imagined myself with two children. I love my own time, but this means gardening, walking, being lazy which I guess could be achieved with a baby?

I have no idea and like I said...head is frazzled lol. Any advice for mums who have gone from 1 to 2? Especially those with a larger age gap. Is having 2 crazy? Will my (future) marriage be ruined lol? Thank you!!!

OP, the only thing better than having one child is having more than one child.

Im literally the childminder anyway...only have one child but have a dozen car seats for our friends kids and usually look like the pied piper.
I know i can shoo them off home though once I've had enough ha.

Maybe its fear...how do you even cpoe with two children and have sanity!!

It'll be perfect op! (Like your job, home, first kid and partner! 😂) and no it won't ruin your future marriage. Congratulations! 😁

The more the merrier, OP. Honestly. I wouldn't have liked to have had only one. It would be a bit dull.

@JohnnieBodenAteMyHamster do you believe so? I love children, and have even considered opening ny home to become a childminer.

I think its the fact that I'm so scared, and not sure how ill cope with loss of freedom and doing what i like, when i like.
