Slow cooked meat

Is it okay? Worried as I don't know if it gets hot enough... I have a gammon and some beef to use up

never had a problem myself if you never had food poisoning its fine

Why would it not get hot enough? As long as the meat isn't pink you're fine!

Of course it gets hot enough in the slow cooker.
