My BMI was 26 when I became pregnant so I cut out the fast food and made sensible choices. I put on 2.5 kg up until week 20.
I went on holiday at 21 weeks pregnant and didn't look too pregnant- just like I was chubby. I have come back now, 23 weeks pregnant looking incredibly pregnant. I have a big old D shape strapped to the front of me. Curious, I weighed myself and in the space of 2 weeks gained 6kg 😳 I obviously made good use of the buffet and all my healthy eating went out the window.
How much of this is realistically baby weight and how much is just me being a beast? Should I be worried about diabetes or any other health problems for the baby?
