Hey everyone,
I'm very new here.

I've come a long way suffering from a pregnancy loss early this year.

I was 4 months pregnant in March, unfortunately we had to terminate the pregnancy due to medical reasons.
Since the termination I had issues with retained products and everything was resolved at the end of April.

Me and my husband thought we'd take a break from ttc, clear our mind, go on holiday and allow some time for ourselves.

Now that we're back from holiday, we're ready to finally ttc.
My periods have always been regular, I've always had a 30 day cycle. However, after the termination, my periods are still regular as it comes every month BUT the length may vary... typically between 26-30 days now.

Due to my period varying every month, ive opted to use OPKs. I'm on Cd14 right now and I still see 0 Lh surge lines.
I'm worried that my system has shut down and I won't be able to ever conceive, I'm in tears everyday since I've started testing.

Can someone please explain why this may be and if anyone has been through someone similar?!

Sorry for your loss. You might just ovulate later than that. I normally have 28 day cycles, but only ovulate around day 17 or 18. It didn't cause any issues. I had a mmc, then a few months later had my successful pregnancy, and I'm now just about to put my 5 month old to bed!

Try to relax (trite, I know), even if you have a month without an ovulation, it doesn't mean it will become a pattern. Good luck x

Sorry for your loss. Get rid of the sticks, I wasted a year following them. Sex every other day instead.

Thank you so much for your response, I think you're right, I defo need to relax.
I've just been in tears for the past couple of days thinking... what's wrong with me!? Why did this all happen to me?! Is my body not working anymore ?!
So many horrible thoughts.

But I'm doing what I can, me and hubby are defo trying everyday, so hopefully that works for us.

Really ?! These sticks are near to no good at all!! It's picking up absolutely nothing, which automatically puts me down and puts me in a situation to think that there's something wrong with me.
Me and hubby are having sex literally every day during my fertile window lol... it's become a chore LOL

Fingers crossed it works x

So sorry for your loss Flowers

I only ovulated somewhere between day 20-22 so keep trying those stick still I'd say. Sex every other day throughout will work but is exhausting and really starts to take the fun out of it after a couple of cycles. Otherwise I know some women have very short LH surges so it might be worth testing a couple of times a day in case you are missing it? I think you're more likely to catch it in the evening as most peaks are in the early hours (and therefore could be totally over by the morning). Maybe try as you are the rest of this cycle and if that doesn't work but a load of cheap sticks online and rest more frequently.

I have a 28 day cycle and I discovered I didn’t ovulate until day 16. I also found the easy@home strips much more accurate than others because my surge happened quickly and ClearBlue missed it.

Hii there :)

Thank you for the response.

After the termination my period pretty much vary each month, so it's super unreliable to think when ovulation May be.

The Easy@Home strips I find it really hard to detect anything on there as the lines are so faint :(

But today I got a flashing smiley face on the clear blue OPK, im so excited! Hopefully not too long to go for a solid smiley !!

@ST18 I usually ovulate on day 16-17 of a 28-29 day cycle. Took me 1-2 months to get pregnant each time, had an early MC last time but 13 weeks currently and all okay. Best of luck xx

Oh I'm so sorry!

I'm so glad it's all going so well for you now !
I'm currently on CD15, for a flashing smiley face on my clear Blue OPK today.
So I'm super excited to try tonight and the coming days!

Fingers crossed
