4/5 engaged at 34weeks

Can anyone help me understand what this actually means please? Had a routine midwife appointment today and she said baby is 4/5 engaged so basically little chance of it turning back breech now but does that mean it’s more likely to come early?

No it makes no difference

No I was 4/5 engaged with DS at 34 weeks. I ended up being induced at 38 weeks with choleastasis but up to then he didn't show any signs of making an appearance.

Which is the most engaged - 1 or 5/5?🤔

If I remember correctly 1/5 I think means babies head is fully engaged and head in pelvis.

i remember hoping it was the other way round when I was 40 weeks and only 4/5!

1/5 is fully engaged i believe. Don't think it means much in terms of how imminent labour is though as things change very quickly.
